the operator in mind, we focused on ergonomics, durability,
and reliability. The new CarpetMaster vacuums features

Clarke CarpetMaster 218, dual motor, 18 inch
The widest upright in Clarke's dual-motor range. One motor drives the brush roll and a second drives suction, so agitation holds up as the bag fills.
Eighteen inches is for open carpet: ballrooms, conference floors, large corridors, anywhere the machine can run in long straight passes. In furnished offices the extra width becomes awkward, and the 15 inch model is the better tool. HEPA filtration, onboard crevice and upholstery tools, bag indicator light.
