DryPaths DPGFCI-10 power cord with in-line GFCI
DryPaths mats ship without a cord, and this is the one to choose when the outdoor receptacle is not already GFCI protected. The ground fault protection is built into the cord itself, so the mats are protected regardless of the outlet.
One cord powers the whole run. However many mats you link together, you need a single power cord, not one per mat.

Choosing between the two cords
Use this cord (DPGFCI-10) where the receptacle is not GFCI protected. Use DPCCF120-10, the version without GFCI, only where the receptacle itself already provides ground fault protection. Ground fault protection is mandatory one way or the other.
Important
Plug directly into a properly grounded outlet, never through a household extension cord. Keep the plug and GFCI body dry and off to the side of the walking path. Test and reset the GFCI monthly, as the electrical code requires, and before each season. Do not use a cord that shows any damage.
Cordon d'alimentation DryPaths DPGFCI-10 avec DDFT intégré
Les tapis DryPaths sont livrés sans cordon. Choisissez ce modèle lorsque la prise extérieure n'est pas déjà protégée par un DDFT. La protection contre les défauts de mise à la terre est intégrée au cordon.
Un seul cordon alimente toute la série. Peu importe le nombre de tapis raccordés, un seul cordon est requis.

Utilisez le DPCCF120-10, la version sans DDFT, uniquement si la prise elle-même est déjà protégée. Brancher directement dans une prise correctement mise à la terre, jamais au moyen d'une rallonge domestique. Effectuer un test et un réarmement mensuels du DDFT, comme l'exige le code de l'électricité.
